First time finding this book in Gramedia (one of the book shop in Indonesia) when I hanged out with my closed friends on December 30th 2009, makes me so surprised. It was like I could feel the very berry great spirit from the photos of Ikal & Lintang who's riding the bicycle. I do love the front cover! X'D


By the way, I haven't ever read this book. But after seeing the Indonesia-version movie (if I am not mistaken) in September 2008 ago, I just wanna give 4 thumbs up *2 thumbs from you :D* to that movie (in original name) Laskar Pelangi! It is about an incredible story of Belitong children in Indonesia, who eagerly want to go to school although the distance from their houses is too far to be stepped. Thirty kilometres far from the elementary school in a village called Gantong, can't imagine how if we ought to walk like the distance of Jakarta-Bogor. Besides, some parents of them must work very hard in lead corporation (in Indonesia language: perusahaan timah) to get some money & keep their children can study at school.


Well, I don't know exactly how the detailed story in the book version is, because I haven't ever read it yet. But, after watching the heartwarming movie & knowing that Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata is translated into an English version makes me think, you must read it. Just let your imagine having nice trip for getting lot of life lessons. Really! =D

Left or Right Brain?

Again, this is the result of how I use my brain, if it is dominantly left, or right. From social network test, I get this for myself =) The pink blod-italic sentences are my opinions.

Sakit Bukan Alasan Untuk Patah Semangat

I've seen many patients today, with their health histories. Thalassemia, hemophilia, CML, ..., it sounds difficult. Again, I remember some lesson. About empathy. About how to treat patient. About how to deliver information well. About how to do interview called anamnesis. About what things to find, etc.


Ya.
They live a special life.
We even don't know how it feels.
In a view, it may look very poor.
But don't you know, they have special chance to get good deed?


We are creatures.
No one can determine their destiny.
Good or bad is just a view of us, a human with lot of imperfections.


There is The One Who Plans.
Just trust, He plans everythings well.
He knows what we don't know.
This is our live.
He, The Almighty, doesn't see us physically,
or accesories,
or new sarongs,

Be A Phlegmatic One Who is Choleric (??)

How to be a very good girl like her ya?

Hmmm...
I had read a psychologic article that a person has 1 character which is very dominant among the rest 3 characters.

The characters are...

Choleric

Phlegmatic

Sanguinic

Melancholic

I wanna be like her. I wanna be as choleric as her, although I'm sure I'm a phlegmatic one ~_~ but I'm very proud, and I want myself have the second position is for the choleric character, the thirs is melancholic, and the last is sanguinic. Because, I'm not really a brave girl who have much talk ={ Just say useful things then.

Then why I wanna be a choleric one too? Because, the choleric persons are usually discipline, organized. They are kind of a good leader. It's so nice =O *it's not a brand of sausage*, in the contrary with the phlematic one, who is very difficult to be a 'powerful' one.

Hmmm...
But I'm still proud to be a phlegmatic one ^^i Because, they usually a kind of peaceful people. They are also usually calm, intelligent, & happy about their lifes ^_^ *narciss mode: ON*

I had read a related article, more about the human characters from psychologic side. I'll post it with that link, but I'm really sorry because the article is in Bahasa Indonesia ^_^i I'm sure, those characters make perfection for each other.
